On The Record
- Led the fight to expose faulty investments by Merrill Lynch which led to recovering more than $14 million to the City.
- 100% voting record; never missing a regular, or special, City Council meeting.
- Proposed and passed a public policy resolution creating a "Green City Commission."
- Proposed cuts to the City Budget and a "spending freeze" to avoid essential service reductions.
- Filed and passed a resolve to update the State's Bottle Bill.
- Currently working on a Anti-Gang Recruitment Ordinance.
- Filed and passed a resolve to re-institute the Canadian Prescription Program that if enacted would save the City $4 million a year.
- Filed and passed a Home Rule petition to the State Legislature asking them to extend the lease of the Forest Park Zoo.
- Support the creation of a study committee to look at building a new Senior Center.
- Amended Ethics legislation to make the law more far reaching and with an educational component for all City employees and elected officials.
